Looks like the high winds peak today or tomorrow as the low pressure system moves 100 NM west of Unalaska by Monday afternoon. For now a gale warning remains through the region, and I'm seeing gusts to 55 knots recorded from nearby weather stations. http://www.wunderground.com/MAR/PK/172.html
The sea state will continue to be pretty significant for days after the system blows through. Meanwhile ... good hiking George and Keirron.
